Olympic Writer/Researcher 

October 2013-February 2014

 

AJ produced, wrote and researched all major Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games for Universal Sports Network. She went on location to conduct interviews, as well as help associate produce "Countdown to Sochi," an award-nominated weekly show which updated viewers across the country of all the news and information they needed to be well-informed viewers of the Games. 

 

Sideline Reporter 

Colorado High School State Football Championships - November 30, 2013

 

​AJ was her own field producer, production assistant and reporter for the CHSAA Championships. She found intriguing storylines and insightful information and delivered her hits in a professional, energetic, and relatable way. She reported the 4A and 5A championship games as well as emceed the live trophy presentation after each game.

Works with top-name brands such as Nike and Stairmaster. Takes professional and engaging photos and videos. 

 
Chargers Writer/Reporter 

​2012-2013

 

​AJ produced, wrote, and shot all primary content for NBC San Diego's Chargers website section for the 2012 season. Conducted interviews with professional athletes and coaches, wrote articles to inform and gain readership, and put together photo galleries designed to tell the game story. Familiar with Content Management System (CMS) and knows how to write for search-engine optimization (SEO).

 

Sports Anchor/Host

​2009-2013

 

AJ was Point Loma Nazarene's primary sports anchor, host and reporter. Hosted and produced a live March Madness show breaking down the NCAA Tournament. Anchored a live biweekly newscast covering local sports teams. Live sideline reporter for PLNU's basketball team, provided in-game insight to enhance the viewer's understanding of the on-court action. 

 

 

Emcee Nike Women's Marathon

​2013

 

Emcee in Washington D.C. for inaguaral Nike Women's Half Marathon: D.C. First expansion of Nike Women's Marathon Series, with over 15,000 runners. Spent three days in the Nike Expotique giving live race-day announcements, interviewing sponsors, doing product highlights, and interview Olympic athletes on-stage in front of hundreds of excited runners. Emceed pop artist Ellie Goulding's private concert for select Nike+ members. Ran the half marathon and five minutes later began to announce the almost 10,000 women finishing behind her.

 

Whitewater Rafting Guide

​2012-2013

 

Mastered some of Colorado's most technical Class III whitewater rapids while prioritizing the safety and entertainment of her guests. Led a group of individuals to learn how to work as a team. Commanded the attention of her boat during extreme situations. Kept cool in ever-changing circumstances, all while keeping guests laughing and enjoying themselves.

 

 

Dick Enberg's Personal Research Assistant 

​2011

 

Worked side-by-side with one of the best in the business for the 2011 Padres season. Researched incoming teams, players and MLB news around the league. Conducted interviews with professional players and managers and turned their answers into usable on-air "nuggets" to use during pre- and in-game broadcasts. Sat in the booth during the game and fed stats, stories and information to Dick and his color commentator.
